Ramalho’s Festival that year felt special — it was the first edition without masks, and you could sense the shift in the air. The energy was vibrant and full of life, like everyone was ready to fully dive into the joy of dancing again.
I had moved to be closer to the event, staying in Recreio dos Bandeirantes during that time, and it made everything feel even more immersive. Each day flowed with music, connection, and a warm, welcoming vibe. The workshops, the social dances, the beach nearby — it all blended into this unforgettable atmosphere.
What stood out the most were the people. So many familiar faces and new ones, all sharing a love for Zouk in one beautiful space. Every night felt like a celebration, and I remember leaving with a full heart and so many beautiful memories.
