By my third WestZoukTime event, I already knew Luděk and Pavla were hands‑down my favorite Brazilian dance event organizers. Their attention to detail, from music selection to workshop flow, made every moment feel effortless and full of joy.
The amazing community they’d built in Brno even had me seriously considering a move to that city just for Zouk. Everywhere I looked, whether in the studio between classes or at a cozy café afterward, I felt the pull of a place where I could truly belong.
The friendship we forged with Luděk and Pavla wasn’t just a fleeting festival connection; I knew it was something that would last. Their warmth and generosity turned acquaintances into family, and I left each event feeling richer for having them in my life.
And then there’s the Babylon hall...hard to describe unless you’ve been there. The way the lights bounce off the patrons, the music thumping through the floor, and the dancers’ energy swirling around you creates a kind of magic I’ve never felt anywhere else.
