Back to the Amazon jungle... in Brazil

After the Galápagos, I flew back to Manaus in Brazil, the gateway to the Amazon. From there, I took a jungle tour and explored parts of the rainforest nearby. It was peaceful, lush, and alive in a way that only the Amazon can be.

This was my last stop before returning to Rio… the closing chapter of my South American circle. And something about being back in the jungle, surrounded by this deep, humid green, gave me space to breathe and reflect. So much had happened in these past weeks and months. So much had changed in me. I felt incredibly connected to nature. Not just in awe of it, but responsible for it. Like something new had awakened in me... a quiet but strong desire to protect it, to care for it, to live more in tune with it.

My accommodation was right by a river, and every evening I watched the sunset melt over the water. Those colors, that stillness... it felt like a soft ending to a trip that had changed me so much.
