A door to Africa

My trip to Marrakech was my second time stepping outside Europe, and I went there with my best friend. From the moment we arrived, I was struck by the strong cultural contrast. The city was full of life: noisy, busy, and completely different from anything I had experienced before.

The streets were packed with people, vendors calling out from every corner, and scooters passing by just inches away. Everyone was trying to sell us something, and we quickly realized that bargaining was part of the experience. It felt chaotic, but also very alive. There was always something happening around us.

As someone who loves photography, I tried to capture the street life as best as I could. I took pictures of the people, the markets, the scenes that felt unique and full of character. It wasn’t easy with everything moving so fast, but I was drawn to the energy of the place and wanted to document it.

In the evening, we went to a rooftop restaurant that had a view over the main plaza. We got there just before sunset, and it was one of those moments that stayed with me. The sky turned orange and the whole city glowed. Watching the city from above, with all its movement and sound, felt amazing.
