While living in Barcelona, I finally made it to Montserrat, a place I had wanted to visit for a long time. I went there with three Romanian friends I had met in the city, along with a Spanish friend, and the day turned out to be everything I had hoped for and more.
The hike was beautiful, surrounded by the strange and majestic rock formations that make Montserrat so unique. We laughed, shared stories, and took breaks to admire the incredible views stretching out below us. There was something really special about being in nature with a mix of new and familiar people, all enjoying the same peaceful energy of the mountains.
Spending the day outdoors, walking, talking, and discovering new views together felt refreshing and light. It reminded me how lucky I was to experience such a stunning place — not just for the landscape, but for the company and connection that made it even better.
