Traveling by metro in Stockholm

Our journey from the north of Sweden finally brought us back to Stockholm, the last stop of our incredible adventure. After days of snow, storms, and chasing the northern lights, arriving in the capital felt like returning to a different world. The air was softer, the streets busier, and everything felt a little more grounded.

We didn’t have much time in the city, but we had one mission: to explore the legendary Stockholm metro stations, known for their underground art. So we grabbed our cameras, hopped on the metro, and started station hopping.

Each stop was like stepping into a different universe... colorful murals, dramatic lighting, painted cave walls, and bold designs. It felt more like an art museum hidden below the city than public transport. We were truly amazed by the creativity and beauty hidden underground.

It was the perfect way to end the trip, a little quieter, a little warmer, and full of inspiration. After all the rushing, hiking, freezing, and wonder, we finally slowed down, looked around, and just enjoyed the moment. Stockholm gave us a calm landing, and one last burst of color before it was time to go home.
