Neo Zouk Festival, organized by my dear friends Anna Russa and Mafie Zouker, was such a sweet experience to be part of—even if just for a little while. I couldn’t be fully present since I had work during that time, but I still managed to drop by, take some photos, share a few dances, and reconnect with friends. And that short time was enough to feel the unique vibe they created.
The atmosphere was creative and open, filled with curious movers and warm souls. I could feel how much intention Anna and Mafie put into making the space feel inclusive and playful, with a touch of their signature artistic flair. It was also so nice to catch familiar faces and be wrapped up in the energy of this little neo fusion world.
Even if I wasn’t there for long, it left me smiling—grateful to witness the energy of a community that continues to evolve and experiment, and to be able to support my friends’ vision through my camera and a few dances.
