Zouk in Rio, organized by Renata in July, was a smaller and more intimate event, but that’s exactly what made it so special. It felt good to be back in Rio, especially at my favorite dance school—the place where my dreams came true.
Even though it wasn’t a huge congress, the energy was warm and familiar. I got to reconnect with friends I hadn’t seen in a while and share moments that reminded me why I love this community so much. The school itself still felt like home, and dancing there again brought back a lot of feelings.
It was one of those weekends that didn’t need to be big to be meaningful. Just good people, good music, and that cozy feeling of being in the right place.
