Zouk Needs You

“Zouk Needs You” was another beautiful edition organized by Val and Vanessa in Rio, and it carried their signature warmth and energy. There’s always something special about the way they bring people together — it feels like family, like a reunion of hearts that share the same love for dance.

This edition felt intimate yet full of life. The workshops were inspiring, and the parties had that cozy but vibrant vibe where you could truly connect with your dance partners. It didn’t feel rushed or overwhelming — just the right pace to enjoy, grow, and have fun.

What I loved most was seeing familiar faces again and realizing how strong the community is here. Every time I’m part of one, I’m reminded why I love zouk so much — not just for the dance, but for the people, the connection, and the sense of belonging.
